Citing the ʿAbbasid caliph al-Nasir li-din Allah (AH 575-622 / AD 1180-1225); ‘li-dīn Allāh / lā ilāh-a illā / Allāh Muḥammad / rasūl Allāh / al-Nāṣir’ (‘There is no deity but Allah. Muhammad is the messenger of Allah. al-Nasir, Commander of the Believers’ in Arabic); mint and date in the marginal legend. Rev. ‘burhānī’ at the top; citing Muhammad as al-Sulṭān al-ʿĀdil/ al-Aʿẓam Abuʾl-Fatḥ / Muḥammad ibn Sulṭān / Takish; repetition of mint and date in the marginal legend. Album 1722. Rare. Green deposits on both sides, otherwise, very fine.
